Shipwreck in Shallow Water, Lake Huron


This Shipwreck beneath the clear waters of Lake Huron in Fathom Five National Marine Park in Ontario. The Huron Lakes have been sailed since 17th century. Thousands of ships have been sunk in Huron Lake while traversing them. In fact, Many of these ships were never found. The Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum estimates 6,000 ships lost, but according to some historian the total wrecks is likely more than 25,000 wrecks. Lake Huron is one of largest freshwater lakes on Earth.
