Marlene Swart and Leon Swanepoel were on holiday in Kruger National Park when a 16ft-long python shot out of the grass and disappared under their car.When the stubborn snake refused to reappear Marlene, 38 and Leon, 51, both from Brits, South Africa were forced to endure a three-mile journey to the nearest look-out with the python hitching a ride.And when they arrived, a crowd looked on as the relieved couple managed to coax the cheeky reptile out of the engine.
