Migaloo, whose name is an Aboriginal Australian word meaning "white fella," is an all-white humpback whale that migrates along the eastern coast of Australia. Migaloo is first time seen cruising on the east coast of Australia near Coffs Harbour in 2005.
And recently the same white humpback whale was spotted off the coast of Norway by maritime engineer Dan Fisher, according to the Daily Mail. Fisher, 32, said he’s worked at sea for 10 years and has never seen anything like it. The whale likely suffered from a leucism, a condition that reduces pigmentation.
