The upper and lower Grassi Lakes lie above Canmore, beyond the Rundle Reservoir in Alberta, Canada.They are named after Lawrence Grassi, an Italian miner who emigrated to Canada. After working with the Canadian Pacific Railway for several years he worked in the Canmore coal mines.
