The Moscow Metro also known as the underground palace was
opened in 1935, is the first in the world by passenger density, carries
approximately 3.3415 billion people a year and around 9.2 million people a day
use it. It has 182 stations and underground laying length of 298 kilometers
(third in the world after London and New York) with 12 lines.
